Number 7 for June

My challenge photo for today, High Angle, is the angel who lives in our backyard.

I like him back there amongst the greenery and flowers.

My kids think he's creepy.

Since yesterday was GB#1's catch up day, my catch up photos for today are of GB#2.

In April GB#2 turned 5 months.  I'll use this one for the mosaic.

With a wardrobe change, we took a few (several) more.

These are just a few of my favorites.

Then in May she turned 6 months.

This time we ventured outside for the photo session.

GB#2 was fascinated by her fluffy underskirt.

And finally, she thoroughly enjoyed her first swing.

Challenges

Hi again,

Today's challenge picture is Books.  These are a couple of my favorites.  

I haven't made anything out of them yet, but I really want to, and in the mean time, they are wonderful books to read over and over.

Today I think I'll do a little catch up also.  Last month GB#1 turned 9 months.

It was not her preference to lie still for the mosaic photo.

I was lucky to get this one with a scowl.

She was much happier sitting up, playing with my lens cap.

Today GB#1 is 10 months old.

I could tell right away it was going to be a challenge.

Almost exactly like last month, she did not want to lie down for the mosaic picture. 

She is much to busy for that.

This is the best I could do.  Unfortunately, the picture is not very well-focused.

Finally free of the photo session, she smiled and smiled in the swing in the back yard.

A Cloudless Day

Today was the most gorgeous, cloudless day.  The temperature was perfect. 

 As fate would have it, the subject for today's picture is Clouds.

How do I solve this dilemma?

I remembered these precious clouds in the grandbabies' book. 

I will post a picture of them.

Done.  Problem solved.

My Favorite Shoes

Hello again.  Today's photo assignment was Your Favorite Shoes.  Wow.  

This was a tough one for me.  Do I pick the pair that is just so cute?  

Do I pick the pair that is so comfortable they will surely become my go to pair for summer?  

Do I pick the heels I have found that I can actually wear without pain?  

As tempting as these all were, I picked the pair below.

These are my current running shoes.  They make me feel strong.  They make me feel powerful.  

They make me feel confident.  They make me feel grateful.

They are my favorite.

New Beginnings

Hi there.  It's me.  I know it's been a while.  April and May have been pretty quiet here on the blog and I will catch you up soon, but to be honest, I really miss the 366 day project I did last year.  So with the beginning of June, I am making a fresh start.

I have chosen to accept the challenge to do a 30 Day Photo Fun project.  It is meant to be fun.  There is no pressure to take super professional looking photos.  I am looking forward to it.  Check it out here and feel free to join me.  The photo for June 1 is Self Portrait.  Here's mine.
